>Last network standing: would you believe NBC?

NBC: Not only did the network tie for the lead on the night, but all 3 of its shows were up. THE VOICE's results hour was the highest rated show of the evening, and, BIGGEST LOSER had its 2d highest rating in 6 weeks, and FASHION STAR hit a new high).

FOX: The network bid a not-so-fond farewell to its 4-sitcom Tuesday. However, GLEE hit a new series low of 2.7, improving the hour but not the show's prospects. With better lead-ins, NEW GIRL and RAISING HOPE were both up.

ABC: It's getting a little odd that LAST MAN STANDING is considered a sure thing for renewal and COUGAR TOWN a dead show walking, when LAST MAN's new series low of 1.7 was only 0.2 higher than Cougar. The DANCING WITH THE STARS results hour was sharply down without a DANCING recap lead-in, but BODY OF PROOF was up a bit to a 1.9.

CBS: A thoroughly bad night, with the whole schedule on a road to season lows.

CW: A repeat 90210 did nothing to boost the season (or more) finale of RINGER, flat at 0.5.

Tonight's premiere is ABC's DON'T TRUST THE B– IN APT 23, followed by a REVENGE recap hour. The other networks feature new episodes of regular shows.
