NETWORK FINALS:  The only change in final numbers was a 0.1 bump for NEW GIRL.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  It was an exceptionally busy night of premieres, and the big winner was USA’s SHOOTER, which proved itself compatible with its WWE SMACKDOWN lead-in (up 0.39 from its Election Day telecast, and up 0.28 from the week before to 0.95) for a 0.50 start.  Note that we don’t have quarter-hour numbers for cable, so we don’t know how that number held up through the pilot. TNT’s GOOD BEHAVIOR was much more subdued, with 0.28/813K for the re-airing of the pilot (which “sneaked” on Sunday night) followed by 0.21 for the premiere of Episode 2.  On MTV, the season premiere of TEEN WOLF was at 0.25, followed by the series premiere of SWEET/VICIOUS at a dismal 0.12.  On History, CURSE OF OAK ISLAND returned at 0.71, and HUNTING HITLER premiered at 0.37. Discovery’s season premiere of MOONSHINERS was at 0.58.  Tru had the season premiere of BILLY ON THE STREET at 0.12, preceded by 0.27 for ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING.  On TLC, the season finale of COUNTING ON (up 0.31 to 0.54) was followed by the season premiere of OUTDAUGHTERED (up 0.13, to 0.29).  Lifetime’s DANCE MOMS was up 0.08 from 2 weeks ago to 0.33, followed by the series premiere of 30-SOMETHING GRANDMA at 0.16.  

Sports, however, powered the night.  The CFP RANKINGS SHOW on ESPN, coming after a weekend of huge college football upsets, was up an astounding 0.74, nearly quadrupling to 1.01.  A pair of COLLEGE BASKETBALL games that sandwiched the Rankings show were at 0.89 for Duke vs. Kansas, and 0.75 for Kentucky vs. Michigan State.  Elsewhere, Bravo’s BELOW DECK returned from a week off down 0.04 to 0.58. OWN’s IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was also back from a week off up 0.08 to 0.58. Spike’s INK MASTER did air last week, and jumped 0.25 to 0.53 (although that was still 0.05 below its rating 2 weeks ago), and the REDEMPTION post-show was at 0.27. On Comedy Central, TOSH.0 gained a tenth to 0.46, and DRUNK HISTORY was also up a tenth to 0.31.  BET’s AN OBAMA CELEBRATION was at 0.40.   On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS ticked up to 0.30, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was up 0.06 to 0.29.  Food Network’s CHOPPED JR was up 0.05 to 0.28.  On Syfy, the season finale of CHANNEL ZERO edged up 0.02 to 0.14, and AFTERMATH was also up 0.02 to 0.15. Freeform aired 2 episodes of BEN & LAUREN at 0.17/0.12, compared to 0.13 for a single episode 2 weeks ago.
