NETWORK FINALS:  The CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL special, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and THE NIGHT SHIFT all added 0.1 in final numbers.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The difference between critically acclaimed drama and shows aimed at a more populist audience was stark on Wednesday cable, as OWN’s GREENLEAF continued strong, up 0.03 to a night-leading 0.64, and at USA, the just-renewed SUITS held at 0.54, but MR. ROBOT continued to flounder, down 0.02 to a new low 0.24.  The RIO SUMMER OLYMPICS arrived with its first preliminary events, giving NBC Sports Net a 0.28.  On Freeform, the season finale of YOUNG & HUNGRY added a tick to 0.26, and the season finale of BABY DADDY was up 0.05 to 0.26.  On Syfy, the season premiere of GHOST HUNTERS was at 0.26, and the season premiere of PARANORMAL WITNESS was at 0.20. On TLC, LOVE AT FIRST KISS debuted at 0.22 after MY BIG FAT FABULOUS LIFE lost 0.05 to 0.29. E!’s BOTCHED BY NATURE started at 0.31, and HOLLYWOOD MEDIUM returned at 0.19. 

Lifetime’s LITTLE WOMEN pair had LA up 0.04 to 0.62, and ATLANTA up 0.07 to 0.55.  Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC rose 0.13 to 0.60, and SHAHS OF SUNSET was at 0.38.  A CNN LIBERTARIAN TOWN HALL hit the Top 10 at 0.47.  Family shows again showed appeal in the 18-49 demo, with Nickelodeon’s LOUD HOUSE at 0.46, and Cartoon Network’s STEVEN UNIVERSE at 0.45, the latter particularly strong in the M12-34 demo.  A&E’s DUCK DYNASTY was at 0.44/0.40, compared to last week’s 0.48/0.44, WAHLBURGERS ticked down to 0.31, and BLACK & WHITE was down 0.04 to 0.09. MTV’s THE CHALLENGE gained 0.04 to 0.41, with the AFTER-SHOW at 0.34.  On History, PAWN STARS dropped 0.05 to 0.41, and AMERICAN PICKERS was down 0.02 to 0.36.  HGTV’s HOUSE HUNTERS fell 0.06 to 0.38, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL and PROPERTY BROS were both steady, respectively at 0.37/0.36.  Discovery’s DUAL SURVIVAL fell 0.05 to 0.26.  VH1’s DATING NAKED dropped 0.06 to 0.22.  FX’s TYRANT climbed 0.03 to 0.22.  Food Network’s CUTTHROAT KITCHEN lost a tenth to 0.21.  Comedy Central’s ANOTHER PERIOD ticked down to 0.18.  HBO’s ANY GIVEN WEDNESDAY gained 0.05 to 0.13.  Sundance’s just-renewed THE A WORD was at 0.01/42K, making one wonder once again what the ratings criteria are at that network.
