EMERALD CITY didn’t gleam as brightly.

NBC: After GRIMM dropped 0.1 to 0.8, EMERALD CITY fell 0.2 to match it. The only thing to be said for its numbers is that EMERALD has a marginally younger audience than GRIMM, slightly higher in 18-34s. The night ended with DATELINE at 0.7.
FOX: ROSEWOOD rose 0.1 to 0.7, but SLEEPY HOLLOW stayed at 0.6.
CW: THE VAMPIRE DIARIES returned at 0.4, steady with its last December airing. CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND held at 0.2, and its renewal for next season with those numbers makes it clear that CW operates on a different financial model than any other broadcast network.
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING (1.3) and DR KEN (0.9) were each down 0.2 from last week. SHARK TANK slipped 0.1 to 1.3, and 20/20 fell 0.2 to 1.1.
CBS: MACGYVER lost 0.1 to 1.1, and HAWAII 5-0 was down 0.2 to 1.1. BLUE BLOODS remained at 1.3.
Now that Sunday’s Kansas City vs. Pittsburgh game has been transferred to primetime for weather reasons, both nights this weekend will be dominated by the NFL PLAYOFFS. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE will air an edited version of an episode hosted by Carrie Fisher (and with the Blues Brothers as musical guests) at 10PM, and tonight’s new episode is hosted by the latest STAR WARS star, Felicity Jones, with Sturgill Simpsons as musical guest. Sunday’s game will interfere with FOX’s first-ever 1-hour THE SIMPSONS (and the special THE MICK to follow it). PBS will follow the season finale of SHERLOCK with the premiere of VICTORIA. And it’s a busy night on cable, where HBO premieres THE YOUNG POPE and Showtime welcomes back HOMELAND.
