CW: THE FLASH stayed at last week’s 0.9, while LEGENDS OF TOMORROW was up 0.1 to 0.6.
NBC: THE VOICE fell 0.3 from last Tuesday to 2.2. TRIAL & ERROR shifted to its regular 9PM slot, and held more or less steady from last week’s post-THIS IS US premiere, with back-to-back episodes at 1.2/1.1 compared to last week’s 1.4/1.0. CHICAGO FIRE had its first Tuesday airing in a month, and was down 0.1 to 1.5.
FOX: NEW GIRL stayed at 0.8, and THE MICK returned fr0m 2 weeks off down 0.1 to 0.8. BONES rose 0.1 to 0.8.
ABC: After sitcom reruns led by THE MIDDLE at 0.9, PEOPLE ICONS was up 0.1 to 0.8.
CBS: Reruns, topped by NCIS at 0.9.
FOX is in the spotlight tonight, as EMPIRE returns for the final stretch of its season, and is preceded by SHOTS FIRED, the network’s attempt to step into the Prestige TV world.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
