NETWORK FINALS:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and BACHELOR IN PARADISE gained 0.1 in final numbers, and HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT and the 9PM BLACK-ISH rerun as well as the reruns of THE FLASH and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW lost the same.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT was easily the top-rated show on Tuesday cable, but at 2.02, its rating was down 0.76 from the 2016 ROANOKE premiere.  On USA, WWE SMACKDOWN gained 0.04 to 0.80, and the season finale of SHOOTER followed with a 0.01 bump to 0.36.  Bravo’s BELOW DECK returned at 0.48, and A NIGHT WITH MY EX was up 0.05 to 0.16.  On Freeform, the midseason finale of THE FOSTERS had a 0.09 leap to 0.33, and the season finale of the still-not-renewed THE BOLD TYPE ticked down to 0.16.  On ID, GRAVE MYSTERIES premiered at 0.30, and KILLER INSTINCT arrived at 0.29.  The season finale of HBO’s HARD KNOCKS ticked down to 0.27.

OWN’s THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS lost 0.04 to 0.68.  On MTV, THE CHALLENGE edged up 0.02 to 0.50.  Spike’s INK MASTER dropped 0.08 to 0.46, and the REDEMPTION after-show was down 0.03 to 0.22.  A&E’s LEAH REMINI: SCIENTOLOGY ticked down to 0.43, and MURDER OF LACI PETERSON was at 0.27.  It was another big news day, and that pushed MSNBC’s RACHEL MADDOW SHOW into the Top 10 with 0.38/2.7M, above CNN’s CNN TONIGHT at 0.26/1M, and Fox News’s TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT at 0.26/2.6M.  TLC’s OUTDAUGHTERED jumped 0.08 to 0.35, and RATTLED was up 0.03 to 0.25.  Coverage of Hurricane Irma put 5 Weather Channel segments in the Top 20, led by the 9PM WEATHER UNDERGROUND at 0.35.  ESPN’s coverage of the US OPEN was at 0.33.  BET’s BEING MARY JANE was steady at 0.33.  On Food Network, CHOPPED was at 0.27.  Discovery’s MANHUNT: UNABOMBER ticked down to 0.27.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS was at 0.23, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was at 0.21.  On Lifetime, DANCE MOMS fell 0.06 to 0.22, and SO SHARP ticked down to 0.14.  Syfy’s FACE OFF: GAME OVER ticked up to 0.16.  Tru’s YOU CAN DO BETTER was at 0.15.
