Cable didn’t prove the cure for David E. Kelley’s recent ratings ills. The debut of MONDAY MORNINGS only managed an anemic 1.34M viewers last night, about 40% of what the premiere for FX’s The Americans scored last week. TNT didn’t even release 18-49 numbers, which should tell you all you need to know about how old the show skewed, but in the 25-54 demo, it had 472,000 viewers, which probably means the show was in the 0.3 range in the group that matters most to advertisers.
Monday didn’t even do a good job of holding its Dallas lead-in–and there wasn’t all that much to hold, as Dallas fell to 2.2M viewers from 3 million in last week’s season premiere. That show’s 25-54 number fell to 917,000, probably around a 0.6 in 18-49s, making for a very unpromising night for TNT.
