After two episodes proving that even a lead-in from The Voice can’t rescue some shows, NBC’s Eva Longoria-produced READY FOR LOVE is no more, yanked off the Tuesday schedule and with no airing of its remaining episodes currently scheduled. This is a particularly ugly miss by NBC, which was so high on Love that it had cleared its Tuesday decks for the series.
With The New Normal, Go On and Smash all gone from Tuesdays, GRIMM will finally get a chance to show what it can do off the Friday night reservation and with a solid lead-in. Tonight will be that show’s last Friday airing, at least for this season, and it will move into the Tuesday 10PM slot beginning April 30, with DATELINE taking over the Friday 9PM slot beginning on April 26. (It’s not clear whether one last Ready for Love episode or something else is airing after The Voice on Tuesday April 23.)
