DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis follows the chart.
ABC: The preliminary 2.1 for the broadcast portion of the annual Disney networks’ NBA marathon (simulcast on ESPN), featuring the Lakers vs. Golden State, was 0.3 higher than the early number for last year’s Christmas Night game. Currently a BLACK-ISH rerun is listed at 1.0 in the 10:30PM slot.
CBS: Reruns at 0.3-0.4.
NBC: The original animated HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS was at 0.7, followed by 0.9 for the live-action remake. (Both serving as commercials for NBC/Universal’s new version, conveniently enough currently in theaters.)
FOX: Reruns at 0.2-0.3.
CW: Reruns at 0.2/0.2.
The only original broadcast programming tonight is CBS’s presentation of THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS.
