Last night was Battle of the Canceled Shows.
CBS: Even though UNDERCOVER BOSS was up a robust 0.4 to 1.6 as a lead-in, the last episode of VEGAS only managed to hold even at 0.9. The season finale of BLUE BLOODS was down 0.2 to 1.1.
FOX: The season finale of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES, even at 1.1, preceded the final TOUCH, also steady at 0.6.
ABC: A SHARK TANK rerun had an 0.7 at 8PM, but then the network dominated from 9-11, with a 1.8 for the week’s new Shark Tank (up 0.1) and a 1.7 for 20/20 (also up 0.1).
NBC: The finale of FASHION STAR was a weak 0.5, down 0.2 from last week. DATELINE was down 0.1 to 1.1, then the now-canceled ROCK CENTER was up 0.1 to 1.2.
CW: Remind me: how did NIKITA get renewed? It stayed at a miniscule 0.2, although that was better than the 0.1 for the SUPERNATURAL rerun that followed.
Tonight will be dominated by NBA PLAYOFFS on ABC (Knicks vs. Pacers) and NASCAR on FOX, while SMASH continues its countdown to the (now-official) end. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE welcomes back Kristen Wiig as host, with musical guest Vampire Weekend.
