ABC: Facing stepped-up competition, STATION 19 (0.7), GREY’S ANATOMY (0.8) and A MILLION LITTLE THINGS (0.4) all dropped 0.1.
CBS: YOUNG SHELDON lost 0.1 to 0.6, and had a decent lead-out with the compatible UNITED STATES OF AL at 0.5. MOM was steady at 0.5, and B POSITIVE was at 0.4 in its new timeslot, down 0.2 from its last 8:30PM airing. CLARICE fell 0.1 to 0.3.
NBC; The season premiere of MANIFEST was at 0.6, down 0.3 from the 2020 premiere and down 0.1 from its last finale (in both cases it had THE VOICE as a lead-in). The crossover premiere of LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME was a huge success, as SVU shot up a remarkable full Nielsen point from its most recent new episode to 1.6, and ORGANIZED CRIME itself debuted at 1.5.
FOX: HELL’S KITCHEN dipped 0.1 to 0.7. The season premiere episodes of THE MOODYS were at 0.3/0.2, compared to 0.7 for its series premiere (which aired after THE MASKED SINGER).
CW: Reruns at 0.1/0.1.
Tonight, CW participates in cross-promotion for its parent company with a run of TBS’s rebooted WIPEOUT.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
