BROADCAST FINALS

ABC:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS jumped 0.16 to 0.49, CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE rose 0.11 to 0.62, SUPERMARKET SWEEP climbed 0.14 to 0.55, and THE ROOKIE was up 0.08 to 0.40.

CBS:  The network had an afternoon NFL overrun that pushed primetime by 43 minutes.  Compared to December 12, when CBS had the late national game, 60 MINUTES was down 0.25 to 1.13.  Compared to last week, THE EQUALIZER was up 0.14 to 0.68, NCIS: LA gained 0.05 to 0.42, and SWAT was steady at 0.42.

NBC:  The final regular season SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL of the season was at 4.85, down 0.15 from last week’s game.

FOX:  The network again used the late national NFL game to launch midseason programming, in this case the season premiere of CALL ME KAT at 1.22 and the series premiere of PIVOTING at 0.60.  Compared to their December 19 airings, BOB’S BURGERS dropped 0.08 to 0.50, and FAMILY GUY was down 0.07 to 0.48.

CW:  LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE ticked down to 0.04.  It was followed by a rerun SUPERMAN & LOIS at 0.02.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The finale of Showtime’s DEXTER: NEW BLOOD was at 0.16, up 0.05 from last week and down 0.04 from the premiere in November.  Notwithstanding that, as has become typical, the network reported that with all platforms included, the result for the finale was record-breaking.  The finale was followed by YELLOWJACKETS, up 0.02 to 0.08.  On HBO, the season premiere of EUPHORIA was at 0.08, down 0.09 from its series premiere in the different ratings world of 2019, and once again reported to be record-breaking by its network with all platforms included.  The season premiere of THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES was at 0.09/0.06, down from the 0.19 series premiere in 2019.

Starz’s POWER BOOK 2: GHOST aired for the first time since December 19, up 0.04 to 0.14.  Adult Swim had many 15-minute episodes of SMILING FRIENDS at 0.16/0.14/0.13/0.13/0.12/0.12/0.12.  TNT’s CLAWS dipped 0.02 to 0.09. 

With YELLOWSTONE done for the season, TLC’s 90 DAY FIANCE retook the Sunday cable crown, up 0.11 to 0.63 (after show at 0.22), with SISTER WIVES up 0.08 to 0.43.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SALT LAKE CITY gained 0.03 to 0.27, and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA was steady at 0.22.  An NBA TV Cleveland vs. Golden State game was in the Top 5 at 0.27.  HGTV’s HOME TOWN held at 0.24.  On Discovery, DIRTY JOBS ticked up to 0.19, THIS CAME OUT OF ME ticked down to 0.05, and MYSTERIES OF THE ABANDONED ticked down to 0.04.  On Food Network primetime, ALEX VS AMERICA rose 0.04 to 0.18, and GUY’S CHANCE OF A LIFETIME was down 0.04 to 0.17.  On ID, AMERICAN MONSTER ticked down to 0.13, and RELENTLESS was at 0.11.
