UPDATED: THE SKED CABLE/NETWORK MONDAY SCORECARD – 5/19/14

NETWORK UPDATE:  THE MAYA RUDOLPH SHOW didn’t start until 10:01PM, so it went down 0.1 while THE VOICE gained that much.  In terms of the future viability of a regular Maya Rudolph series (the special was more or less a pilot for one), it’s not a good sign that the show started with a 2.7 rating in its first 15-minute segment, and had fallen to 1.7 by 10:45PM.  In addition, DANCING WITH THE STARS and THE BACHELORETTE each rose 0.1.

MONDAY CABLE:  The NBA PLAYOFFS on TNT had the lead at 2.7, while the NHL PLAYOFFS on NBC Sports Network were at 0.6.  VH1’s LOVE AND HIP-HOP ATLANTA wasn’t far behind the NBA at 1.9 (up 0.2 from last week), plus 1.0 for a 9:30PM run and 0.6 at 11PM.  Also on VH1, T.I. & TINY was at 1.2 (down 1.1) and THIS IS HOT 97 held at 0.5.  WWE (USA) was at 1.3-1.4, down 0.1 from last week.  THE BOONDOCKS (Adult Swim) slipped 0.1 to 1.0 (plus 0.5 at 2AM), and SWAMP PEOPLE (History) was also down 0.1 to 0.8.  LOUIE (FX) was at 0.3 in its 2 half-hours, down 0.1 for the first and steady for the second.

NBC:  THE MAYA RUDOLPH SHOW was given an ideal launching pad after the Monday season finale of THE VOICE, and it held up its end with a fine 2.2.  The Voice itself was up 0.1 from last week to 3.1, but down 0.6 from last year’s Monday finale.

FOX:  The BONES season finale fell 0.1 from last week to 1.6, and 24 (oddly, the Live Another Day moniker isn’t to be found on the show itself) continued to drop, down 0.3 from last week to 1.7.

ABC:  DANCING WITH THE STARS held even with last year’s Monday finale at 2.5, which was up 0.2 from last week.  The season premiere of THE BACHELORETTE tied its premiere low 1.9.

CBS:  Only two shows were new last night:  FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES (steady with last week at 1.6) and the season finale of MIKE & MOLLY (down 0.1 to 1.9).  MOM was the highest of the reruns at 1.4.

CW:  No one was interested in a run of the movie DISTRICT 9, at a dismal 0.2.

Tonight’s season finales include DANCING WITH THE STARS, THE VOICE and SUPERNATURAL.  FOX launches its reality show I WANNA MARRY HARRY, and CBS has AN ALL STAR TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS.
