MASTERCHEF was cooking last night.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
FOX: MASTERCHEF rose 0.3 from last week to 1.7, while BULLSEYE stayed at 0.9.
CBS: BIG BROTHER was steady at 1.9, and EXTANT rose 0.1 to 0.8, although that was still below the 0.9 lead-in it had from a CRIMINAL MINDS rerun.
ABC: CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP was steady at 0.8, below the reruns of MODERN FAMILY and BLACKISH that preceded it.
NBC: Reruns of the network’s big summer guns AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR were at 1.3/1.2.
CW: Reruns at 0.3/0.3.
In case Thursdays weren’t crammed with original scripted programming already, tonight brings more: the British sitcom DATES begins its run on CW, while RECTIFY returns to Sundance and DOMINION starts its 2d season on Syfy.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
