ROOKIE BLUE may be hitting retirement age.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: After an 0.8 BEYOND THE TANK rerun, MISTRESSES was steady at 0.8. But ROOKIE BLUE fell 0.1 to a new series low 0.5. It will look for some kind of bounce next week from its season finale.
CBS: BIG BROTHER held at 2.0, and once again the night’s rerun BIG BANG THEORY was the Thursday’s 2d highest-rated show at 1.5. UNDER THE DOME gained 0.1 from last week’s series low to 0.9.
FOX: BOOM rose 0.1 to 0.7, followed by a BONES rerun at 0.5.
NBC: FOOD FIGHTERS stayed at 0.9, and DATELINE slipped by 0.1 to 1.1.
CW: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST was up 0.1 to 0.3, the same as the ARROW rerun that followed it.
CBS has a national NFL PRESEASON game tonight. On cable, the seasons end for Syfy’s DEFIANCE and DARK MATTER, the latter with a 2-hour season finale.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
