NBC chose Christmas Night to whack its biggest loser.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis follows the chart; comparison charts will resume with regular network programming after New Year’s.
NBC: TRUTH BE TOLD had an ignominious exit, heaped on the Christmas bonfire at 0.5/0.4. It was outrated by the 0.8 rerun of COAT OF MANY COLORS that followed.
CBS: A newly colorized ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW CHRISTMAS SPECIAL led the line-up at 0.8, followed by 0.5/0.6 reruns.
ABC: The CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS rerun rode its NBA holiday tripleheader lead-in to take the night at 1.1 (falling to 0.9 in its 2d hour), followed by 20/20 at 0.8.
FOX: Reruns at 0.5/0.3, with the latter a 2d run of AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN.
CW: A rerun of the IHEARTRADIO JINGLE BELL special at 0.4, matched by a WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY rerun.
The networks are submerged in reruns tonight. As with Thursday night, the biggest rating will probably belong to NFL Network and its SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game.

SHOWBUZZDAILY FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8.21.2015
On another night riddled with football preemptions and likely to be adjusted by Monday numbers, there was little to say. ABC’s WE DAY special went largely unseen at 0.4, and the night’s original 20/20, down 0.2 to 0.7, barely outraged its SHARK TANK rerun lead-in. NBC’S DATELINE won the…

SHOWBUZZDAILY NETWORK SCORECARD 9.18.2014
Even football was subdued on a very quiet night. CBS: A blowout win by Atlanta over Tampa Bay tested even NFL fans, as THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL crashed by 2.2 from last week to a 3.3 preliminary rating. That will go up in final numbers, but not enough to make…
