NETWORK UPDATE:  As expected, football adjustments lowered CBS’s numbers, although not as drastically as last week’s.  THE BIG BANG THEORY remained at 3.8 (up 0.1 from last week’s final), LIFE IN PIECES was down 0.2 to 1.8 (steady), MOM lost 0.1 to 1.7 (up 0.2), 2 BROKE GIRLS fell 0.2 to 1.7 (up 0.1) and ELEMENTARY dropped 0.1 to 0.9 (up 0.1).  All of ABC’s numbers held, which kept 12-year old GREY’S ANATOMY at the top of the ShondaLand heap, a remarkable accomplishment.  There were also no changes at the other networks.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Sports dominated the cable night, with NFL Network’s THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL at the top, although its 2.20 was down 0.38 from last week’s game.  TNT’s NBA doubleheader saved its big audience for the west coast Golden State vs. Clippers game at 1.19, with the primetime Milwaukee vs. Cleveland contest at 0.62.  On Syfy, WWE was down 0.02 to 0.61, and HAVEN ticked up to 0.19.  A holiday-themed LIP SYNC BATTLE special on Spike was at 0.60.  On A&E, THE FIRST 48 edged down 0.03 to 0.46, and NIGHTWATCH fell 0.07 to 0.42.  On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS gained a tenth to 0.44, and BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW was up 0.05 to 0.24.  History followed a PAWN STARS clip show (0.37) with a new episode (0.38), down from last week’s 0.58/0.52 for a pair of new episodes.  Lifetime’s PROJECT RUNWAY JUNIOR dropped 0.06 to 0.28; it was preceded by a PROJECT RUNWAY clip show at 0.21.  Comedy Central’s NATHAN FOR YOU was up 0.02 to 0.25.  On IFC, BENDERS plunged by 0.03 to 0.01, although it was steadier in total viewers, down 11K to 69K, while COMEDY BANG BANG kept it company at a steady 0.01/31K.
