As we head into the weekend, a margin of less than $10 million separates Team Metcalf and Salem in the ShowBuzzDaily Summer Movie Draft. That’s very good news for Salem because he has X-Men: First Class and Super 8 opening before Metcalf’s next movie on June 17. It’s actually a very interesting race because as of the weekend of June 10, Salem will have opened four of his top five picks, while only one of Metcalf’s top five will have opened. Metcalf is banking on some big openings in late June and throughout July. Look for the next update on Monday.
