NETWORK FINALS:  THE OSCARS adjusted to 6.8, a historic low and down 25% from 2017.  On FOX, the scheduled Billy Graham memorial special appears to have been preempted in most of the country by the overrun of a NASCAR race.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  With the usual caveat that AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD is the highest-rated scripted show on cable (except for GAME OF THRONES) and any network would be happy to have it, there has to be some concern about its 0.78 plunge from last week’s midseason premiere to 2.86.  (Last season’s 2nd midseason episode dropped 0.44 to 5.28.)  TALKING DEAD fell 0.41 from last week to 1.06, and COMIC BOOK MEN managed a 0.04 rise to 0.23.  Adult Swim was at the top of the other scripted networks, with the return of MIKE TYSON MYSTERIES at 0.46, MR PICKLES at 0.33/0.28 compared to last week’s 0.35/0.31, and SUPERMANSION down a tick to 0.22.  Hallmark’s WHEN CALLS THE HEART climbed 0.08 to 0.28.  On HBO, LAST WEEK TONIGHT slipped 0.02 to 0.30, the season finale of CRASHING dipped 0.02 to 0.14, the season finale of DIVORCE was similarly down 0.02 to 0.12, and HERE AND NOW fell 0.05 to 0.06.  On Showtime, THE CHI lost 0.05 to 0.23, but still outrated HOMELAND, down 0.06 to 0.22, while OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT fell off the chart, down 0.04 to 0.04/124K.  On Starz, COUNTERPART lost 0.02 to 0.09, and ASH VS EVIL DEAD was down 0.03 to 0.07.  

E!’s KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS season finale jumped 0.16 to 0.61, after the network’s LIVE ON THE RED CARPET Oscar special was at 0.57/0.41, down from last year’s 0.66/0.60, and the night finished with REVENGE BODY up 0.03 to 0.28.  ESPN’s NBA game was at 0.56.  On TLC, SISTER WIVES rose 0.03 to 0.37, and SEEKING SISTER WIFE was steady at 0.30.  On Food Network, GUY’S GROCERY GAMES and WORST COOKS IN AMERICA were both at 0.33, respectively down 0.03 and 0.11.  Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA may have aired a clip show, since it was down a massive 0.59 to 0.32.  On ID, ON THE CASE shed 0.04 to 0.31, and EVIL LIVES HERE was down 0.07 to 0.31.  MTV aired a FEAR FACTOR at 0.24.  Discovery aired STREET OUTLAWS specials at 0.22/0.20.
