BROADCAST FINALS

ABC:  AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS dropped 0.07 to 0.43, CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE fell 0.11 to 0.50, SUPERMARKET SWEEP was down 0.05 to 0.37, and THE ROOKIE held at 0.31. 

CBS:  With a lower NFL lead-in, 60 MINUTES was down 0.61 to 0.92.  The season premiere of THE EQUALIZER was at 0.77 compared to 0.93 for its first regular episode (post the post-Super Bowl premiere) in February.  The season premiere of NCIS: LA was at 0.65 compared to 0.8 for the November 2020 premiere.  SEAL TEAM will only be airing for a few weeks on CBS before moving to its new home on Paramount+, and its season premiere was at 0.44 compared to 0.5 for the December 20 premiere.

NBC:  The primetime portion of SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was at 5.18 compared to last week’s 7.40.  We don’t have the numbers for the post-rain delay portion of the game that went past primetime.

FOX:  It was TREEHOUSE OF HORROR night on THE SIMPSONS, at 1.32 compared to last year’s 1.7, and up 0.14 from 2 weeks ago, the last time FOX had the late national NFL game.  Also compared to 2 weeks ago, GREAT NORTH was up 0.08 to 0.76, BOB’S BURGERS was up 0.05 to 0.67, and FAMILY GUY was down 0.02 to 0.56.

CW:  The new line-up premiered with LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE at 0.07 and KILLER CAMP at 0.05.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The season’s one-third finale of AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD gained 0.06 to 0.53, with WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND down a tick to 0.19, and TALKING DEAD down 0.02 to 0.08.  On Adult Swim, a RICK & MORTY special was at 0.19, and TEENAGE EUTHANASIA ticked up to 0.11.  On Starz, BMF rose 0.03 to 0.13, and the season finale of HEELS ticked down to 0.01/81K.  Hallmark’s CHESAPEAKE SHORES dropped 0.03 to 0.08.  On Showtime, THE CIRCUS ticked up to 0.02/214K, BURIED premiered at 0.01/117K, AMERICAN RUST ticked down to 0.01/333K, and WORK IN PROGRESS ticked off the cliff to zero/66K.  On HBO, the finale of SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE was steady at 0.02/154K, the finale of NUCLEAR FAMILY held at 0.01/62K, and LAST WEEK TONIGHT was down 0.02 to 0.08. 

NFL Network had the early Sunday morning game from London (branded as “THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL”) at 1.16  The MLB PLAYOFFS were at 0.52 on Fox Sports 1, and 0.43 on MLB Network.  On TLC, 90 DAY FIANCE climbed 0.09 to 0.44, and I LOVE A MAMA’S BOY was up 0.04 to 0.24.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE POTOMAC rose 0.11 to 0.36, and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SLC was up 0.07 to 0.28.  ESPN2’s FORMULA 1 race was at 0.24.  On Food Network, HALLOWEEN WARS was steady at 0.21, and OUTRAGEOUS PUMPKINS was down 0.02 to 0.18.  TUDN’s SELECCION MEXICANA match was at 0.21.  On ID, EVIL LIVES HERE edged up 0.02 to 0.15, and ON THE CASE was up 0.02 to 0.12.  Discovery’s ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE fell a tenth to 0.13.  On HGTV, RENO INC stayed at 0.13, LAKEFRONT BARGAIN HUNT was at 0.09/0.08 compared to last week’s 0.13/0.12, and HAWAII LIFE was at 0.08/0.07 compared to last week’s 0.12/0.12.  On History, WHEN BIG THINGS GO WRONG was at 0.07, and ENGINEERING THAT BUILT THE WORLD was at 0.06.
