BROADCAST FINALS:

ABC:  The season premiere of AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS was at 0.50.  CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE jumped 0.21 to 0.61, SUPERMARKET SWEEP slipped 0.02 to 0.42, and THE ROOKIE was down 0.05 to 0.31.

CBS:  Thanks to its national NFL lead-in, 60 MINUTES grew by 0.75 to 1.53.  A run of the movie STAR TREK followed at 0.34.

NBC:  Tom Brady’s return to New England was as huge as expected for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, which climbed 1.77 to 7.40.

FOX:  Without the late national NFL game, and with reruns at 0.35/0.43 as lead-ins, THE SIMPSONS toppled by 0.66 to 0.52, GREAT NORTH fell 0.33 to 0.35, BOB’S BURGERS lost 0.16 to 0.46, and FAMILY GUY was down 0.11 to 0.47.

CW:  The second half of the IHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVAL special was steady with Saturday at 0.07.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD gained 0.04 to 0.47, and the season premiere of WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND was at 0.20, down 0.29 from last year’s series premiere (which had a 0.87 lead-in from WALKING DEAD), with TALKING DEAD down 0.04 to 0.10.  Hallmark’s CHESAPEAKE SHORES was steady at 0.11.  The season finale of TNT’s ANIMAL KINGDOM was at 0.11, down 0.05 from last week and down three-tenths from the last finale in 2019.  On Starz, BMF ticked down to 0.10, and HEELS returned from an off-week at a steady 0.02.  On HBO, LAST WEEK TONIGHT dropped 0.03 to 0.10, SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE ticked down to 0.02, and NUCLEAR FAMILY was down a tick to 0.01/81K.  Adult Swim’s TEENAGE EUTHANASIA shed 0.02 to 0.10.  On Showtime, the season finale of BILLIONS was at 0.05, down a tick from last week and down 0.07 from last year’s finale of the season’s first half, while THE CIRCUS held at 0.01/145K, AMERICAN RUST ticked up to 0.02, and WORK IN PROGRESS was steady at 0.01/62K. 

On the unscripted side, TLC’s 90 DAY FIANCE dropped a tenth to 0.35, with I LOVE A MAMA’S BOY up a tick to 0.20.  NBC Sports Net’s PREMIER LEAGUE match was at 0.31.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE POTOMAC lost 0.05 to 0.25, and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SLC was up 0.02 to 0.21.  Discovery’s ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE rose 0.07 to 0.23.  On Food Network, HALLOWEEN WARS dipped 0.02 to 0.21, and OUTRAGEOUS PUMPKINS was t 0.20.  On HGTV, LAKEFRONT BARGAIN HUNT was at 0.13/0.12 compared to last week’s 0.13/0.11, RENO INC ticked up to 0.13, and HAWAII LIFE was at 0.12/0.12 compared to last week’s 0.14/0.12.  On ID, EVIL LIVES HERE ticked up to 0.13, and ON THE CASE was down 0.02 to 0.10.
