BROADCAST FINALS

ABC:  After a rerun AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS at 0.45, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD ticked down to 0.51, THE $100,000 PYRAMID slipped 0.03 to 0.42, and THE FINAL STRAW was down 0.09 to 0.21.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER was up a tick to 0.80, sandwiched between reruns at 0.67 (thanks to an afternoon NFL lead-in) and 0.23/0.18.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.26/0.26/0.24.

CW:  A simulcast of the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS ticked down from last year to 0.14.

TELEMUNDO:  Movies at 0.20/0.20.

UNIVISION:  AQUI Y AHORA was steady at 0.20, RETADOR down 0.05 to 0.21, and TU CREES was down 0.04 to 0.17.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  As usual, the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS were simulcast across the Paramount cable universe, and rated as follows:  on MTV itself down 0.13 to 0.32 (the pre-show was down 0.04 to 0.14), and at 0.07 on VH1 (up 0.02), 0.05 on Nickelodeon/Nick At Nite (down 0.03), 0.10 on BET (up 0.02), 0.06 on Paramount (up 0.01), 0.08 on Comedy Central (steady), 0.02 on MTV 2 (steady), 0.03 on TV Land (down 0.01), 0.04 on CMT (up 0.02), 0.04 on Pop (up 0.02), 0.02/64K on BET Her (up a tick), and 0.01/21K on Logo (steady).  It should be noted that according to Paramount, when all networks and streaming eyeballs are added up, the total demo viewership for the Awards was up from last year.

HBO’s HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, already renewed for a 2nd season, built on last week’s premiere by 0.04 to 0.59.  The series finale of TNT’s ANIMAL KINGDOM rose 0.05 to 0.18.  Hallmark’s CHESAPEAKE SHORES ticked up to 0.12.  AMC’s TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD gained 0.03 to 0.10.  Adult Swim’s TUCA & BERTIE ticked down to 0.09.  On Showtime, CITY ON A HILL returned from a week off up 0.05 to 0.08, and THE CHI ticked down to 0.08.  Starz’s POWER BOOK 3: RAISING KANAN ticked down to 0.06. 

ESPN’s MLB SUNDAY NIGHT game was at 0.47.  ESPN2’s FORMULA 1 race was at 0.37.  NFL Network’s PRESEASON NFL game was at 0.34.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA was steady at 0.30, and MARRIED TO MEDICINE ticked down to 0.17.  On TLC, 90 DAY FIANCE fell 0.11 to 0.29 (post-show down 0.03 to 0.12), and I LOVE A MAMA’S BOY ticked down to 0.21.  CNBC’s NASCAR race was at 0.22.  USA’s PREMIER LEAGUE matches were at 0.18/0.11.  Discovery’s NAKED & AFRAID gained 0.02 to 0.18.  Food Network’s ALEX VS AMERICA rose 0.05 to 0.17.  On HGTV, RENOVATION ISLAND was at 0.17, and ISLAND LIFE was at 0.16/0.12 compared to last week’s 0.09.  On A&E, WWE LEGENDS ticked up to 0.12, WWE RIVALS was up a tick to 0.09, and WWE SMACK TALK gained a tick to 0.05.  ID’s NOTES ON A SCANDAL was at 0.11.  On History, CRAZY RICH ANCIENTS ticked up to 0.07, and COLOSSEUM ticked down to 0.07.
