NETWORK UPDATE:  In the battle of COLLEGE FOOTBALL games, CBS’s LSU vs. Alabama match-up was dominant by far, adjusting up 0.2 to 3.6.  ABC’s Minnesota vs. Ohio State game held at 1.2, and FOX’s Utah vs. Washington game gained 0.1 from early numbers but was still way behind at 0.4.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Saturday cable was mostly about COLLEGE FOOTBALL and anime.  ESPN’s noon and primetime games led at 0.96 and 0.94, with the late afternoon game at 0.58 and late-night at 0.48.  On Adult Swim, there was the usual mix of originals and “originals” after a week off, topped by DRAGON BALL Z, up 0.09 from 2 weeks ago to 0.81 and with 1.68M total viewers.  It was followed by AKAME GA KILL up 0.11 to 0.69, PARASYTE up a tenth to 0.57, MICHIKO & HATCHINI up 0.11 to 0.53/1.12M, NARUTO up 0.16 to 0.53/1.10M, ONE PIECE up 0.13 to 0.47/922K, and KILL LA KILL at 0.41/773K.  Hallmark has already begun the holiday season, and successfully, as its movie ICE SCULPTURE CHRISTMAS earned 0.43.  Spike’s original COPS was down 0.08 from 2 weeks ago to 0.41.  Food Network’s PIONEER WOMAN gained 0.09 to 0.40, and FARMHOUSE RULES was up 0.03 to 0.33.  HBO, as usual, rates its boxing program in segments, which had this range:  0.34/0.28/0.24/0.21/0.19.  On BBCAmerica, DOCTOR WHO rose 0.16 from last week’s Halloween disaster to 0.35, but THE LAST KINGDOM fell even further, down 0.04 to 0.05/274K.  On Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD didn’t perk up post-Halloween, losing a tick to 0.12, and DAVINCI’S DEMONS gained a hundredth to 0.07/233K.  On Sundance, THE RETURNED slipped from its weak premiere by 0.1 to 0.02/100K.
