NETWORK UPDATE:  THURSDAY  NIGHT FOOTBALL adjusted up to 5.0, a big number until you compare it to last week’s final 6.9.  Elsewhere, both GREY’S ANATOMY and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER gained 0.1 in final numbers.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  The MLB PLAYOFFS had a good run for 2 days–until it had to compete with THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.  The NFL scored 1.29 on its cable simulcast, down 0.31 from last week’s game, while Fox Sports 1’s baseball was at 0.96, down sharply from Wednesday’s 2.59 (the afternoon game on TBS was at 0.43), and ESPN’s COLLEGE FOOTBALL was down 0.02 from last week’s game to 0.43.  In the non-sports realm, Lifetime’s PROJECT RUNWAY led with a 0.09 increase from last week to 0.66, while lead-out FASHIONABLY LATE WITH RACHEL ZOE remained at 0.14.  On Syfy, WWE slipped 0.04 to 0.56, and the final season premiere of HAVEN was at 0.20, the same as last week’s DOMINION season finale.  Tru’s IMPRACTICAL JOKERS jumped 0.18 to 0.49, and was followed by BILLY ON THE STREET at 0.20.  On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS returned at 0.38, with BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW at 0.22.  We’s LA HAIR dropped 0.06 to 0.27.  On IFC, BENDERS inched up by 0.01 to 0.04/77K, but GIGI DOES IT managed to hit dead zero in 18-49s, with 20,000 total viewers, and COMEDY BANG BANG was even slightly worse at zero/18K.
