NETWORK UPDATE:  The post-football adjustments at CBS were once again substantial.  BIG BANG THEORY lost 0.1 to 3.7, which tied it with last week’s final number, and things went downhill from there.  LIFE IN PIECES dropped half a point to 1.8 (down 0.1 from last week), MOM fell half a point to 1.5 (same as last week), the season premiere of 2 BROKE GIRLS was down 0.4 to 1.6, and ELEMENTARY was left at 0.8, which was down half a point from this morning but–much more worrisome–was also down 0.3 from last week’s final rating.  That put ELEMENTARY just a tenth ahead of the all-but-dead THE PLAYER on NBC.  The only non-CBS adjustment was a 0.1 boost for THE BLACKLIST.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL gave NFL Network the easy win, although at 2.58 it was down 0.48 from last week’s game.  (ESPN’s COLLEGE FOOTBALL was up 0.02 to 0.40.)  Syfy’s WWE coverage gained 0.06 to 0.63, but HAVEN lost 0.06 to 0.18.  TNT’s NBA doubleheader was at 0.59/0.51, close to last week’s 0.62/0.57.  On History, a pair of PAWN STARS episodes were at 0.58/0.52, above last week’s 0.45/0.42.  Bravo aired two half-hours of REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY at 0.52/0.44.  On A&E, the pairing of THE FIRST 48 and NIGHTWATCH was very compatible at twin 0.49s, compared to last week’s 0.48/0.42.  Food Network’s CHOPPED IMPOSSIBLE was up 0.09 to 0.45.  Lifetime aired a PROJECT RUNWAY REUNION special at 0.38, followed by the launch of PROJECT RUNWAY JUNIOR at 0.34.  MTV’s RIDICULOUSNESS was down 0.02 to 0.34, and BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW lost 0.03 to 0.19.  On Comedy Central, NATHAN FOR YOU fell 0.03 to 0.23.  On IFC, BENDERS declined 0.01 in 18-49s to 0.04, but took a steeper dip in total viewers, down by 64K to 80K, while COMEDY BANG BANG dropped 0.01 to 0.01/42K.
