NETWORK FINALS:  CONVICTION and THE ODD COUPLE fell 0.1 in final numbers.  After adjustment for the Houston MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL simulcast, SUPERGIRL dropped 0.1 and JANE THE VIRGIN fell 0.2.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  TBS’s experiment with stripping all 10 episodes of comedy SEARCH PARTY across 5 nights had a fair if unspectacular start, with a 0.24 rating at 11PM and 0.20 at 11:30PM. Those numbers are considerably lower than the 0.38 for PEOPLE OF EARTH (up a tenth from last week), but that show had a big 0.62 lead-in from AMERICAN DAD (up 0.13), and then there was a 90-minute gap of FAMILY GUY reruns before SEARCH PARTY picked up out of primetime.  

The San Francisco vs. Houston MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL match-up was strong for ESPN, up 0.40 from last week to 3.99.  On VH1, LOVE & HIP-HOP rose 0.08 to 1.22, BLACK INK CREW gained 0.09 to 0.98, and the already-renewed MARTHA & SNOOP’S POTLUCK DINNER PARTY eased off by 0.03 to 0.75.  USA’s WWE telecast was at 1.16/1.13/1.01, compared to last week’s 1.00/1.00/0.95. Discovery’s STREET OUTLAWS lost 0.05 to 0.94, and FAST N LOUD returned at 0.42.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY dropped 0.15 to 0.66, and VANDERPUMP RULES was down 0.07 to 0.58.  MTV’s TEEN MOM lost 0.07 to 0.60, with an AFTER-SHOW at 0.43.  On History, AMERICAN PICKERS was steady at 0.37, and PAWN STARS ticked up to 0.31.  Food Network’s CAKE WARS edged up 0.02 to 0.28, and GUY’S GROCERY GAMES was at 0.23.  ID’s PEOPLE MAGAZINE INVESTIGATES fell 0.07 to 0.28.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was at 0.28, HOUSE HUNTERS was at 0.25, and TINY LUXURY was at 0.26.  The 2d episode of Nat Geo’s MARS plunged by almost half from last week’s premiere, down 0.15 to 0.17, and EXPLORER was down 0.02 to 0.06.
