NETWORK FINALS:  The 9PM hour of 48 HOURS rose 0.1 in final numbers, and DESPICABLE ME 2 fell the same.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Saturday cable belonged to TBS and its Elite 8 NCAA TOURNAMENT games at 2.78/1.72.  The higher-rated late game was followed by a preview of ANGIE TRIBECA’s season 2 premiere at 0.57.  (HBO once again had its theatrical movies listed as “originals”, and INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE scored with 0.67.)  The rest of the Top 10 was animation, led by Adult Swim, where SAMURAI JACK was down 0.02 to 0.66, DRAGON BALL Z up 0.06 to 0.54 (the primetime episode was up 0.05 to 0.34), JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE up a tenth to 0.51, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM up 0.02 to 0.38, newcomer TOKYO GHOUL was at 0.44, HUNTER X HUNTER was up 0.07 to 0.41/805K, NARUTO down 0.02 to 0.32/643K, and GHOST IN THE SHELL down 0.04 to 0.24/499K.  Nickelodeon’s 10AM SPONGEBOB hit the Top 10 again, down a tick to 0.48, with lead-out ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS at 0.42.  A&E’s LIVE PD was steady at 0.41.  The Lifetime movie STALKERS PREY was at 0.34.  A TEEN MOM special on MTV was at 0.32.  HGTV’s HOUSE HUNTERS RENOVATION dropped 0.04 to 0.32.  On Food Network, VALERIE’S HOME COOKING rose 0.05 to 0.24, KITCHEN AT FN fell 0.04 to 0.22, and TRISHA’S SOUTHERN KITCHEN was down 0.05 to 0.21. TLC’s SAY YES TO THE DRESS ticked down to 0.21.  The finale of BBCAmerica’s PLANET EARTH II edged up 0.02 to 0.21, followed by a MAKING OF special at 0.13.  OWN’s LOVE THY NEIGHBOR fell 0.04 to 0.10/0.10, and FOR PEETE’S SAKE was at 0.08.
