NETWORK UPDATE:  With the help of the late NFL PLAYOFFS game, 60 MINUTES went even 0.1  higher in final numbers to 4.8, and THE GOOD WIFE was also up 0.01 to 1.4.  NBC’s DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE rose 0.2 to 2.1.  Elsewhere, FAMILY GUY gained 0.1 to 1.7.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Let’s deal first with ANGIE TRIBECA, which TBS ran in a 25-hour marathon that started with premiere runs of the season’s episodes and then continued to rerun (and rerun) them, without commercial interruption (although ads aired between episodes).  The highest rated episode was the premiere at 0.44.  Not unexpectedly, the numbers went more or less steadily downward after that, with Episode 2 at 0.40, #4 at 0.37, #3 at 0.36, #5-6 at 0.34, #7-8 at 0.31, #9 at 0.26 and #10 at 0.24.  The first round of reruns (which started out, at least, in their original order) began at 0.19 and through the 2:17AM episode (the last we have for “Sunday”) went to 0.10.  Of course, the big question about all of this is how it will affect the real airings of the show beginning next week.

The other noteworthy arrival was Showtime’s BILLIONS.  At this point, we all understand that when a network raves about how many online/VOD views a pilot has, that probably means its on-air number was less than thrilling, and that was true once again, as the pilot followed SHAMELESS (up 0.03 from last week to 0.66) with a relatively dim 0.24.  BILLIONS skewed very old, outrated in the 18-34 demo 0.53 to 0.14–but of course Showtime doesn’t care about demos the way broadcast (and basic cable) networks do, since a subscriber is a subscriber.  Earlier in the evening, the political documentary series THE CIRCUS premiered at a fragile 0.02/97K.

All of that was far from the top of the night’s cable chart, which was led by Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA, down 0.02 to 1.39 and the lead-in to the premiere of REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE POTOMIC at 0.90, with WORKOUT NY down 0.02 to 0.36.  Fox Sports 1’s UFC FIGHT NIGHT scored 1.11, with PRELIMS at 0.81.  On E!, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS was up 0.04 to 1.03, and the season finale of THE ROYALS crept up 0.02 to 0.40.  Discovery’s ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER dropped 0.06 to 0.83.  On Adult Swim, ROBOT CHICKEN ticked down to 0.71, and MIKE TYSON MYSTERIES rose 0.08 to 0.69.  On Food Network, GUY’S GROCERY GAMES grew by 0.08 to 0.60.  History’s AX MEN gained 0.06 to 0.47.  On TLC, LONG ISLAND MEDIUM was at 0.35/0.31 compared to last week’s 0.36/0.32, while MARRIED BY MOM & DAD was up 0.07 to 0.33.  The CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS, simulcast on A&E, Lifetime, and Lifetime Movie Network, was respectively at 0.19/0.16/0.08.
