NETWORK FINALS:  Game 2 of the WORLD SERIES lost 0.1 in final numbers, adjusting down to 4.8. Elsewhere, it was a busy night of adjustment at ABC, where THE GOLDBERGS, SPEECHLESS and MODERN FAMILY all gained 0.1, but DESIGNATED SURVIVOR fell 0.1 to a further series low of 1.2.  In addition, SVU went up 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY regained the top Wednesday cable slot after last week’s Presidential Debate, up 0.05 to 1.41 (for an episode that seemed designed to prove that THE WALKING DEAD could look nonviolent by comparison).  ESPN aired its first NBA games of the season, with Houston vs. Lakers at 0.92, and Oklahoma City vs. Philadelphia at 0.69.  Comedy Central’s SOUTH PARK rose 0.08 to 0.84, and LEGENDS OF CHAMBERLAIN HIGH ticked down to 0.24.  There was more sports in the Top 10 courtesy of Univision’s COPA soccer match at 0.69. Lifetime’s LITTLE WOMEN franchise had ATLANTA up 0.06 to 0.56, and LA steady at 0.47.  OWN’s QUEEN SUGAR returned from a week off at 0.48, which was down 0.03 from 2 weeks ago.  On Food Network, WORST COOKS IN AMERICA climbed 0.06 to 0.41.  E!’s TOTAL BELLAS lost a tick to 0.31, and CATCHING KELCE was up 0.02 to 0.15.  On HGTV, HOUSE HUNTERS rose 0.06 to 0.30, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was up 0.03 to 0.27, with PROPERTY BROTHERS up 0.02 to 0.29.  Syfy featured season finales for GHOST HUNTERS, up 0.07 to 0.27, and PARANORMAL WITNESS, up 0.04 to 0.19.  Bravo’s DON’T BE TARDY fell 0.04 to 0.27 compared to 2 weeks ago.  On Spike, LIP SYNC BATTLE gained 0.03 to 0.27, and THAT AWKWARD GAME SHOW was down 0.02 to 0.09.  MTV’s REAL WORLD shed a tick to 0.21.  On TLC, TODDLERS & TIARAS was at 0.19, and LITTLE MISS ATLANTA was at 0.13.  TV Land’s YOUNGER climbed 0.05 to 0.17, and IMPASTOR was up 0.03 to 0.10.  FXX’s YOU’RE THE WORST slipped 0.02 to 0.10.  IFC’s DOCUMENTARY NOW aired 2 episodes at 0.03/62K and 0.04/90K.  The final season of Sundance’s RECTIFY premiered at 0.06/179K.
