NETWORK FINALS:  BLACK-ISH lost 0.1 in final numbers.  (Both EMPIRE and CRIMINAL MINDS stayed at this morning’s series lows.)

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Fascination with the Presidential election stayed high on The Day After, with 28 of the Top 30 slots going to one news telecast or another.  The top hour was 11AM, where Fox News was at 1.35/7.9M and CNN was at 1.31/5.4M.  

None of this troubled the night’s regular programming, which on the original scripted side is getting as crowded as Sundays.  (Although admittedly comparisons to last week are for episodes that aired against World Series Game 7.)  FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY gained 0.11 to 1.30.  On Comedy Central, SOUTH PARK (with an election-themed episode that had to be revised at the last minute) jumped 0.34 to 1.18, LEGENDS OF CHAMBERLAIN HIGH rose 0.12 to 0.36, and they were followed by the highest-rated episode of THE DAILY SHOW in quite a while at 0.53.  A post-election FULL FRONTAL on TBS was at 0.55.  OWN’s QUEEN SUGAR fell a tenth to 0.44.  TV Land’s YOUNGER dropped a tick to 0.15, and IMPASTOR held at 0.07.  IFC’s STAN AGAINST EVIL was at 0.07/0.08, compared to last week’s premiere 0.06/0.07.  FXX’s YOU’RE THE WORST had a 0.04 bump to 0.10. WGN’s SALEM fell off the chart, down 0.04 to 0.06/212K.  Sundance’s RECTIFY stayed sub-chart, down 0.01 to 0.03/126K.

On the unscripted side, TNT’s NBA coverage featured Houston vs. San Antonio at 0.61, and Nets vs. Knicks at 0.43. Bravo’s BELOW DECK returned at 0.51, and DON’T BE TARDY was up 0.11 to 0.36. The Lifetime LITTLE WOMEN franchise had LA down 0.09 to 0.35, and DALLAS down 0.03 to 0.32. On HGTV, PROPERTY BROS climbed a tenth to 0.34, HOUSE HUNTERS was up 0.05 to 0.33, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL gained 0.04 to 0.30.  On E!, the TOTAL BELLAS finale rose 0.04 to 0.32, and CATCHING KELCE was up 0.02 to 0.14.  Spike’s LIP SYNC BATTLE climbed 0.05 to 0.29, and THAT AWKWARD GAME SHOW was up 0.02 to 0.11.  Food Network’s WORST COOKS IN AMERICA dropped 0.04 to 0.25.  MTV’s REAL WORLD ticked up to 0.19, with an AFTER-SHOW at 0.10.  On TLC, TODDLERS & TIARAS was steady at 0.16, and TWIRL LIFE premiered at 0.07.  The finale of HBO’s ANY GIVEN WEDNESDAY was at 0.07.
