NETWORK FINALS:  The season premiere of MASTERCHEF gained 0.1 in final numbers, but the AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR premiere as well as WAYWARD PINES lost 0.1.

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  Hockey and soccer scored well on Wednesday cable, with 0.95 for NBC Sports Net’s coverage of the STANLEY CUP FINALS, and 0.52 for a Mexico vs. Chile NATIONAL TEAM match on Univision. Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC rose 0.03 to 0.55, and THERE GOES THE MOTHERHOOD was steady at 0.16.  The Night 3 breakdown for ROOTS was a one-tenth bump on History to 0.51, a 0.02 increase on A&E to 0.34, a 0.02 drop on Lifetime to 0.29, and a 0.06 fall on LMN to 0.14.  On Discovery, BERING SEA GOLD edged up 0.02 to 0.44.  MTV’s THE CHALLENGE fell 0.08 to 0.42, with the after-show down 0.06 to 0.22.  On a very consistent evening for HGTV, BROTHER VS BROTHER was at 0.42, HOUSE HUNTERS at 0.41, and HOUSE HUNTERS INTL at 0.38, with LISTED SISTERS up 0.04 to 0.29.  On Food Network, CUTTHROAT KITCHEN TIME WARP was at 0.36. FX’s THE AMERICANS, which just received a renewal for a final 2-season run, shot up by almost 50% over last week, up a tenth to 0.31. USA’s ROYAL PAINS rose 0.07 to 0.31.  On TLC, TRANSGENDER KIDS CAMP was at 0.27, and I AM JAZZ was at 0.20.  Tru’s THE CARBONARO EFFECT gained 0.03 to 0.26. On Freeform, BABY DADDY and YOUNG & HUNGRY both returned at 0.25.  On TV Land, LOPEZ climbed 0.02 to 0.13, and SOUL MAN ticked up to 0.08.  POP’s SCHITT’S CREEK held at 0.05.  On El Rey, the 1st hour of LUCHA UNDERGROUND dropped 0.01 to 0.04/111K, and the 2d hour was steady at 0.02/40K.  IFC’s MARON doubled to 0.04/90K.  Sundance Channel renewed CLEVERMAN for a 2d season before the premiere even aired, and wound up at 0.04/197K.
