SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Friday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 12.12.2014

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  THE AMAZING RACE gained 0.1 in final numbers.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

THE GOLD RUSH (Discovery) rounded up to tie SHARK TANK as the highest rated show on all of television Friday night, dropping 0.08 from last week to 1.46.  Lead-out EDGE OF ALASKA slipped 0.03 to 0.65, and lead-in GOLD RUSH: THE DIRT was at 0.60.  ESPN’s NBA BASKETBALL doubleheader was at 0.87/0.55.  On Syfy, WWE gained 0.63 to 0.68.  KENDRA ON TOP (We) rose 0.03 to 0.37.  DEAL WITH IT (TBS) was up 0.03 to 0.26, the same number as TNT’s premiere of The Rock-driven reality show WAKE UP CALL.  On IFC, COMEDY BANG BANG lost 2/3 of last week’s rating with 0.02 and 33K total viewers, and BIRTHDAY BOYS was almost identical with 0.02/34K.
