NETWORK UPDATE: NBC’s NFL WILD CARD GAME adjusted up in final numbers to 8.8.
Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):
ESPN’s first-ever NFL WILD CARD GAME on Saturday afternoon swamped the rest of cable at 6.95, and the network also had the #2 show of the day, with a COLLEGE BOWL game at 1.29. After that, it was all the way down to TLC’s SEX SENT ME TO THE ER, with 2 episodes at 0.44/0.40. up around 0.05 from last week’s episodes, and far above lead-in UNTOLD STORIES OF THE ER at 0.18. Hallmark’s original movie scored 0.28, and TNT’s THE TRANSPORTER was down a tick to 0.21. A KATT WILLIAMS SPECIAL on HBO was at 0.22. THE MISSING (Starz), which took last week off, returned as low as ever at 0.03.
