Ratings for the Top 25 original cable telecasts Thursday (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):
NETWORK UPDATE: CBS coverage of Thursday Night Football jumped to a 7.5 adult 18-49 rating and 20,771,000 total viewers (any age). The 7.5 demo rating is up an enormous 36% jump from the fast national rating this morning. (Usually NFL games go up about 18% from the fast nationals to official nationals, maybe more if a strong west coast team is involved — not the case last night.) Additionally the game scored a 1.63 adult 18-49 rating and 3,431,000 total viewers for the simulcast on NFL Network, which on its own last year mustered only a 3.6 adult 18-49 rating on the same night for Jets-Patriots.
