SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Tuesday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 12.23.2014

NETWORK UPDATE:  The only change from this morning’s numbers was a 0.1 increase for the rerun Michael Buble holiday special on NBC.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

MOONSHINERS (Discovery) led the way for a depleted set of original shows on Wednesday cable, up 0.14 to 0.83.  CURSE OF OAK ISLAND (History) was next, down 0.02 to 0.79.  A pair of ESPN COLLEGE BOWL games were at 0.69/0.63.  GROUND FLOOR (TBS) lost a tenth to 0.56.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS dropped a big 0.28 to 0.54, which made GIRLFRIENDS GUIDE TO DIVORCE look relatively healthy, up 0.04 to 0.34.  INK MASTER (Spike) fell heavily by 0.35 to 0.50.  THE LITTLE COUPLE (TLC) fell 0.08 to 0.45, but BAD GIRLS CLUB (Oxygen) gained 0.06 to 0.44.  CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST didn’t air on USA, and a pair of BENCHED episodes were at 0.34/0.23, which was up 0.04 for the first one.  REAL WORLD (MTV) dropped 0.04 to 0.28, followed by GIRL CODE at 0.14.  VH1’s HEY, FELICIA ticked down to 0.18.  BET’s NELLYVILLE slipped 0.02 to 0.35.  Strangest stat of the day:  what’s been labeled by Nielsen as OFF THE AIR at 4AM on Adult Swim–which is either a cool new cult show or a test pattern–was the 7th highest-rated “original” of the cable day at 0.51.
