BROADCAST FINALS:

ABC:  THE GOLDBERGS gained 0.03 to 0.58, THE WONDER YEARS dipped 0.03 to 0.47, THE CONNERS ticked up to 0.52, and HOME ECONOMICS ticked down to 0.35.  A MILLION LITTLE THINGS fell 0.08 to 0.23, and even by the current standards of broadcast network ratings, that seems like a dangerous place to be.

CBS:  SURVIVOR was down 0.06 to 0.94.  The season premiere of TOUGH AS NAILS was at 0.50, down just 0.05 from its February 2021 premiere.  The series premiere of the rebooted CSI: VEGAS was at 0.46.

NBC:  The CHICAGO franchise was as follows:  MED up 0.09 to 0.83, FIRE down 0.05 to 0.80, and PD down a tick to 0.75.

FOX:  THE MASKED SINGER lost 0.11 to 0.90, and ALTER EGO was down 0.05 to 0.42. 

CW:  On a season finale night, RIVERDALE was at 0.08 (up 0.03 from last week, down from 0.2 for the May 2020 finale), and IN THE DARK was at 0.07 (up 0.03 from last week, compared to 0.1 for the July 2020 finale).

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS:  TBS’s National League MLB WILD CARD GAME was on top at 1.73.  On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS ticked up to 0.39.  TNT’s ALL ELITE WRESTLING dropped 0.08 to 0.37, and RHODES TO THE TOP was at 0.19/0.13 compared to last week’s 0.17.  MTV’s THE CHALLENGE fell 0.07 to 0.33.  Lifetime’s MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT ticked up to 0.27, and COUPLE CAM was up a tick to 0.09.  Cable news was led by Fox News’s TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT at 0.27/0.45/3.3M, with MSNBC’s RACHEL MADDOW SHOW at 0.17/0.26/2.4M, and CNN’s ANDERSON COOPER 360 at 0.11/0.15/1M.  FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: DOUBLE FEATURE shrank by 0.11 to 0.15.  History’s COUNTING CARS was at 0.15/0.12.  On ID, WHERE MURDER LIES ticked up to 0.15, and IN PURSUIT was down 0.04 to 0.11.  On A&E, COURT CAM ticked up to 0.14, and NEIGHBORHOOD WARS was at 0.12 compared to last week’s 0.15/0.14.  On TLC, DR MERCY ticked down to 0.14, and MY FEET ARE KILLING ME was up 0.02 to 0.12.  On Discovery, EXPEDITION X gained 0.02 to 0.12, and LOST RELICS OF THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR was up 0.04 to 0.11.  Comedy Central’s AWKWAFINA IS NORA FROM QUEENS lost 0.04 to 0.10.  On HGTV, CURB APPEAL fell 0.04 to 0.10, HOUSE HUNTERS dropped 0.04 to 0.10, HOUSE HUNTERS INTL was down 0.03 to 0.10, and HOUSES WITH HISTORY was at 0.09.  The season finale of FXX’s ARCHER was at 0.05, down 0.05 from last week, and down 0.09 from the 2020 finale.
