>Two polar opposites in terms of programming quality occupy the top of the weekly cable ratings chart. Two hours of USA’s WWE wrestling extravaganza and HBO’s Game of Thrones each rated a very solid 2.0 rating with Adults 18-49. The HBO rating is a far greater accomplishment because the pay cable network is available in a small minority of US television homes (a little more than a quarter), while USA is available in nearly every cable or satellite home (almost nine in ten US households). Not making our chart this week, AMC’s Mad Men received a 1.0 rating with Adults 18-49 Sunday at 9 (down from last week’s 1.2 premiere and below our admittedly arbitrary 1.1 rating threshold for the weekly chart).
