FOX, reacting quickly to the decline of NEW GIRL, has just announced that it’s yanking the horribly rated I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER from the final 2 weeks of its 4-sitcom Tuesday. Last night, Teenage Daughter could only crawl to a 1.2, and that helped reduce New Girl to a series-low 2.6.
The network’s substitution of RAISING HOPE reruns in the slot may not be much of a solution: last night’s new Hope only managed a 1.6. Still, at least these 2 shows are more compatible than the smart New Girl was with the imbecilic Teenage Daughter.
Teenage Daughter fans craving the unaired episodes will be happy to know that FOX plans to burn them off during the summer.
