Ratings analysis follows the chart.

Fast Demo 2018 Feb 16.FRI

NBC:  The WINTER OLYMPICS held at 3.9, which was below the parallel night at other Olympics:  4.5 in 2014, 5.4 in 2010, 5.5 in 2006, and 8.5 in 2002.  Adjustments in final ratings have been minimal at best in recent days.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER: CELEBRITY EDITION stayed at last Friday’s 1.0, and was followed by 0.4 for a HAWAII 5-0 rerun.

CW:  The season finale of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND remained at last week’s 0.2, the same as the PENN & TELLER: FOOL US rerun that followed it.

ABC:  After 0.6 for a run of A BUG’S LIFE, 20/20 was steady with last Friday’s 0.6.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.3/0.3.

The non-Olympics broadcast networks stay quiet over the weekend.  On cable, however, TNT airs the NBA ALL-STAR GAME on Sunday night (and has several preliminary events tonight, followed by a “preview” of the new animated series FINAL SPACE), while HBO returns LAST WEEK TONIGHT to its air on Sunday.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back Tuesday for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs, a day later than usual due to the Presidents Day holiday.
