ABC: DR. KEN probably earned its back 9 order last night by holding 100% of its LAST MAN STANDING lead-in for the 2d consecutive week, both shows remaining at 1.3. What has to be troubling for ABC, though, is the drop for SHARK TANK, down 0.2 from last week to 1.3. 20/20 gained 0.2 to 1.2.
NBC: UNDATEABLE, which has become overwhelmed with its own meta-ness since going live, gained 0.1 from last week’s season premiere to 0.9. With that lead-in, the 0.7 for the premiere of TRUTH BE TOLD wasn’t an embarrassment, although no network can be happy with a debut that low. DATELINE was steady at 0.9.
FOX: The 1st game of the MLB AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES led the night at 1.7, although that was down from the 2.1 TBS scored the night before with the decisive game of the last round.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE held at 1.1, but HAWAII 5-0 was down 0.1 to 1.0, and BLUE BLOODS fell 0.2 to 1.1.
CW: REIGN remained at 0.3. The 0.3 for the rerun of the CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND pilot was the same rating it earned for its series premiere on Monday.
Tonight’s event is the AMY SCHUMER: LIVE AT THE APOLLO special on HBO. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE has its own event, with Tracy Morgan returning as host, accompanied by Demi Lovato as musical guest.
