Things are getting more dire for NBC’s comedies.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: The live UNDATEABLE is quickly losing its appeal. Even as NBC announced yesterday that the show would perform twice each Friday, with live feeds for both the east and west coasts, the show fell 0.2 to 0.7, and TRUTH BE TOLD dropped 0.1 from its premiere to 0.6. Those would normally be considered untenable numbers, but since these are the only comedies NBC has on its air, they may continue to limp along. The rest of the night was filled by DATELINE, steady at 0.9.
ABC: Both LAST MAN STANDING and the newly back-ordered DR. KEN were down 0.1 to 1.2. SHARK TANK rose 0.1 to 1.5, and 20/20 held at 1.2.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE stayed at 1.1. At the moment, HAWAII 5-0 is down 0.1 to 1.0 and BLUE BLOODS is up 0.1 to 1.2, but those shows tend to shift a bit with final numbers, so they could be steadier than that.
CW: REIGN and the newly-canceled AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL were each at 0.2. That was down 0.1 for REIGN, and MODEL was 0.1 below last week’s CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND rerun.
FOX: Reruns at 0.5/0.3.
Tonight’s network line-up is all COLLEGE FOOTBALL and reruns. The cable action is on Starz, where the premiere of the final season of DAVINCI’S DEMONS precedes the season finales of SURVIVOR’S REMORSE and BLUNT TALK.
