Some last-minute changes due to the awful news from Paris didn’t shake up the ratings.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: In light of the Paris events, the network decided that it wasn’t the best night for live comedy, and switched UNDATEABLE to a rerun, which at 0.6 was just a tenth below last week’s new episode. TRUTH BE TOLD stayed at 0.6. GRIMM fell 0.1 to 0.9. DATELINE shifted its content to cover Paris, but fell 0.2 to 0.8.
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING was up 0.1 to 1.3, while DR. KEN held at 1.2. SHARK TANK topped the night, steady at 1.6. 20/20 also covered the Paris attacks but slipped 0.1 to 1.2.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE and HAWAII 5-0 remained at 1.1, while BLUE BLOODS is currently down 0.1 to 1.2.
FOX: MASTERCHEF JR edged down 0.1 to 1.2, and WORLD’S FUNNIEST was again at 0.8.
CW: REIGN gained 0.1 to 0.4, and AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was stable at 0.3.
Tonight’s DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE on CBS will now focus on the Paris attacks and foreign policy in general. It’s always tricky for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE–which is probably grateful this isn’t Donald Trump week–to air a new episode in the wake of tragedy, and the show will attempt to make people laugh with host Elizabeth Banks and musical guest Disclosure.

ABC: Last week, CRISTELA premiered 0.1 higher than its lead-in LAST MAN STANDING; this week, LAST MAN rose 0.1 (to 1.3) and CRISTELA declined 0.1 (to 1.2), but they’re still looking like a very compatible pair, albeit not at high numbers. SHARK TANK as usual led everything on the…
