It wasn’t much of a curtain call for GLEE.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
FOX: The two-hour GLEE finale averaged 0.8 (0.9/0.8/0.8/0.7 by half-hours), which sadly enough was up 0.1 from last week and up 0.2 from the 2014 season finale, a reminder of how deeply it had declined over the past seasons.
CBS: Preliminary numbers for the NCAA TOURNAMENT have the night’s games at 1.2/1.1, a far cry from Thursday night’s preliminary 2.0.
NBC: GRIMM returned from hiatus at a steady 1.1, and DATELINE was up 0.1 to 1.3.
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING (1.3) and CRISTELA (1.0) were each up 0.1 from last week, and SHARK TANK (1.8) and 20/20 (1.1) each held last week’s number.
CW: The next-to-last HART OF DIXIE of the season (at least) was steady at 0.4, and a rerun of the IZOMBIE pilot had the same rating.
NCAA BASKETBALL continues on CBS tonight, while ABC has a new IN AN INSTANT and NBC synergistically airs one of the prequels to its movie studio’s upcoming FURIOUS 7. On Sunday, HBO has the season finales of GIRLS and LOOKING.
