BIG BROTHER took the last weeknight before the new broadcast season begins.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis follows the chart.
CBS: BIG BROTHER aired a Friday episode at 1.2, easily taking the night. It was followed by 0.5/0.6 procedural reruns.
ABC: 20/20 held last week’s 0.7, preceded by 0.5/0.6 reruns.
NBC: DATELINE dropped 0.3 from last Friday to 0.9, after 0.8 from an AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR rerun.
CW: The new MASTERS OF ILLUSION and the season finale of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US were each up 0.1 to 0.4, with a 0.3 MASTERS rerun in between.
FOX: Reruns at 0.5/0.6.
Tonight’s primetime line-up is all COLLEGE FOOTBALL. On Sunday, ABC airs the EMMY AWARDS, and CBS begins its THE CASE OF JONBENET RAMSEY docu-miniseries (which was recently cut down by 2 hours, suggesting there’s not much there there).
