SHOWBUZZDAILY MONDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11.2.2020

NOTE: CW numbers below inflated by a pre-emption in New York on WPIX for NFL MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (Bucs vs. Giants, airing nationally on ESPN). In Tampa-St. Petersburg the game aired locally on an independent station, without distorting the numbers below. Precise program ratings for Monday available this afternoon with the cable and broadcast nationals.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After DANCING WITH THE STARS dropped 0.1 to 0.7, the season premiere of THE GOOD DOCTOR was at a dismal 0.6, down 0.4 from the 2019 premiere.

CBS:  THE PRICE IS RIGHT AT NIGHT was at 0.6, followed by reruns at 0.2/0.2.

NBC:  THE VOICE was steady at 1.0, and an SNL ELECTION SPECIAL was at 0.6.

FOX:  LA’S FINEST (0.3) and FILTHY RICH (0.2) were both down 0.1, and FILTHY RICH has already been canceled.

CW:  As noted above, the current 0.2/0.2/0.2 for the night’s reruns may dip with final numbers.

You may have heard that there’s an election going on today, and all the networks will be airing wall-to-wall coverage throughout primetime and probably beyond.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available this afternoon with the broadcast finals.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Monday cable programs and broadcast finals.
