THE VOICE took a hit.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
ABC: THE BACHELOR: LISTEN TO YOUR HEART (0.6) and THE BAKER & THE BEAUTY (0.5) were steady.
NBC: THE VOICE fell half a point to 0.9, which suggests an atypical episode, and SONGLAND was down 0.2 to 0.6.
FOX: 9-1-1 held at 1.2. The season finale of PRODIGAL SON (which was in an unusual position because it shot out of sequence, and although the season was truncated, the finale episode had been produced pre-shutdown) was steady at 0.7.
CW: The new and rerun episodes of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY stayed at 0.2/0.2. ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO gained 0.1 to 0.2.
CBS: Reruns at 0.4-0.6.
Reruns are beginning to populate the broadcast schedule, but tonight’s shows are largely per regular line-ups.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
