A dull night, even by summer standards.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

ABC:  THE BACHELORETTE led the night, but it dropped 0.2 from last week to 1.4.  A rerun of $100,000 PYRAMID followed at 0.7.

CBS:  ELEMENTARY remained at 0.6, preceded by reruns at 0.5-0.7.

FOX:  SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE stayed at 0.7, followed by a 9-1-1 rerun at 0.4.

CW:  SUPERGIRL dropped 0.1 to 0.4, and WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY was at 0.3, compared to last week’s 0.3/0.4, with an 0.3 rerun afterward.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.6/0.7.

Freeform’s THE BOLD TYPE returns tonight with back-to-back episodes, and FX’s LEGION ends its season.  

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
