Demo Profile 2014 MON 15 Dec

NBC:  The network was preempted in New Orleans by the simulcast of MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, and while THE VOICE aired in late-night there, STATE OF AFFAIRS didn’t air at all.  So its numbers, which at the moment have it steady with last week’s 1.6, may not hold.  For now, the first half of THE VOICE cycle finale is up 0.4 to 2.9 (and even with the football bump, down 0.4 from last season’s parallel episode).

ABC:  The same situation in Chicago, although since ABC aired a CASTLE rerun at 10PM, the fact that the show didn’t air in that market is less important.  For now, THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT is down 0.2 from last week to 1.5.

CBS:  2 BROKE GIRLS gained 0.1 to 2.1, but MIKE & MOLLY lost the same amount to 1.8.  SCORPION also dipped 0.1 to 2.0, and NCIS: LOS ANGELES held last week’s 1.6.

FOX:  THE AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN AWARDS managed 0.9.

CW:  The early, off-night “season premiere” of HART OF DIXIE left it with the same 0.4 as last season’s premiere, and it won’t be seen again until Friday January 9.  Riding its surprise Golden Globe nominations, the midseason finale of JANE THE VIRGIN gained 0.1 to 0.6.

CBS is the only network airing fresh episodes of its regular schedule tonight.  NBC starts the evening with the new animated ELF: BUDDY’S MUSICAL CHRISTMAS and then has the rest of THE VOICE cycle finale.  ABC has 2 hours of rerun holiday specials, starting with A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, and then a rerun FOREVER.  FOX follows a MASTERCHEF episode with reruns, and CW features a rerun of the VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW special that ran on CBS.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
