RUNNING WILD sped up NBC’s summer Monday.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: Even though AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR fell 0.2 to 1.7, RUNNING WILD debuted for the season at 1.3, slightly down from 2014 but up 0.4 from last week’s finale of THE ISLAND.
ABC: THE BACHELORETTE was down 0.1 to 1.9 and THE WHISPERS was up 0.1 to 0.9, but because WHISPERS didn’t actually start until 10:01PM, one or both of those shifts could shift back in final numbers.
FOX: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE stayed at 1.0.
CW: PENN & TELLER: FOOL US was steady at 0.5, and both WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY and CEDRIC’S BARBER BATTLE were up 0.1, respectively to 0.5/0.4.
CW: Reruns, led by 2 BROKE GIRLS at 1.0.
FOX’s coverage of baseball’s ALL-STAR GAME is the main event of tonight’s primetime. Last year’s game had a preliminary 3.0 rating.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
