THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 8/25/14

Maybe airing the Emmys on a Monday wasn’t such a great idea.

Daily Comp 3way 2014 MON Aug 25

NBC:  THE EMMY AWARDS, airing on a weeknight for the first time in decades, fell 0.5 from last year in preliminary numbers to 3.8.  (It’s currently down 1.1 from last year’s final numbers, but this year’s show should go up as well in afternoon ratings.)

FOX:  The network’s reality shows weren’t hurt at all by the stronger competition on NBC, as MASTERCHEF held at 2.0 and MOTEL HELL gained 0.1 to 1.6.

ABC:  Similarly, BACHELOR IN PARADISE was steady at 1.3, and MISTRESSES grew 0.1 to 0.9.

CBS:  UNDER THE DOME slipped 0.1 to a new series low 1.4, not the right direction as the show approaches its season finale.  The night’s sitcom reruns were led by MIKE & MOLLY at 1.1.

CW:  Everything was at 0.4, which included the 2d episode of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, holding with last week’s number.

ABC has a special Bachelor in Paradise tonight, and CW airs a MAROON 5 ALBUM RELEASE PARTY.  Cable features season finales for PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, TYRANT and COVERT AFFAIRS.
